Gonee

My first Regeneration, my David Tennant, my David, my lovely Doctor

Here was my Facebook status of the night

Crying so hard right now, im laughing and crying at the same time cause im thinking how silly is this? But he's gone, my Doctor, my David Tennant, and its silly that I'm so upset!

he saw his Martha and Mickey, saved them

he saw Sarah Jane, saved her son

saw Jack and Alonso (good ol' jack ;])

the one lady's granddaughter

his Rose Tyler, the love of his life, who she has yet to meet

and Donna on her wedding day, with Granddad, who salutes him once again, the last time.

and the Ood, who sing his song as he stumbles in pain, his hearts (yeah, he has 2), to the Tardis, his arms and legs and head and body becoming fire and light and the sun, everything and nothing. and his last words.

I don't want to go.

And a new man becomes him, Matt Smith, and yet, he isn't ginger.

My David's gone, and yep, I'm crying more than I thought I would.

  • The Doctor: New-New Doctor

  • Novice Hane: It is said he will talk to a wanderer, to the man without a home, a lonely god.

  • Reinette: One may tolerate a world of demons for the sake of an angel.

  • Reinette: Oh, this is my lover, the King of France.
The Doctor: [dismissive] Yeah? Well I'm the Lord of Time.

  • Abzorbaloff: Oh, but it will! 'Cause you'll surrender to me, Doctor. You'll do as I say, [stretches a hand towards Elton] or this one dies. See, I've read about you, Doctor. I've studied you. So passionate, so sweet - you wouldn't let an innocent man die! And I'll absorb him, unless you give yourself to me.

  • Tim Latimer: He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful.

  • Martha Jones:But if Martha Jones became a legend then that's wrong, because my name isn't important. There's someone else. The man who sent me out there, the man who told me to walk the Earth. And his name is The Doctor. He has saved your lives so many times and you never even knew he was there. He never stops. He never stays. He never asks to be thanked. But I've seen him, I know him... I love him... And I know what he can do.

  • Martha: A telepathic field, binding the whole human race together. All of them, every single person on Earth, thinking the same thing at the same time! And that word, is Doctor!

  • Tenth Doctor: Oh, no, of course. You mostly went hands-free didn't you? Like, "Hey, I'm the Doctor. I can save the universe using a kettle and some string! And look at me, I'm wearing a vegetable!

  • The Doctor: I'm the Doctor. I'm a Time Lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous. I'm 903 years old, and I'm the man who's gonna save your lives and all six billion people on the planet below. You got a problem with that?

  • Ood Sigma: I think your song must end soon.

  • Donna: [about the Doctor] He saves planets, rescues civilizations, defeats terrible creatures ... and runs a lot. Seriously, there is an outrageous amount of running involved.

  • River's narration: [as the Doctor walks away from the Library] When you run with the Doctor, it feels like it'll never end. But however hard you try you can't run forever. Everybody knows that everybody dies and nobody knows it like the Doctor. But I do think that all the skies of all the worlds might just turn dark if he ever, for one moment, accepts it. [pause]Everybody knows that everybody dies. But not every day. Not today. [The Doctor uploads her into CAL with her own happy universe] Some days are special. Some days are so, so blessed. Some days, nobody dies at all. Now and then, Every once in a very long while, every day in a million days, when the wind stands fair and the Doctor comes to call, everybody lives...

  • Davros: The Doctor. The man who keeps running, never looking back because he dare not, out of shame. This is my final victory, Doctor. I have shown you yourself.

  • Wilf: No, no - but every night, Doctor, when it gets dark, and the stars come out, I'll look up on her behalf. I'll look up at the sky, and think of you.

  • The Doctor: But there are laws. There are laws of time. Once upon a time there were people in charge of those laws, but they died. They all died. Do you know who that leaves? Me! It's taken me all these years to realise the laws of time are mine! And they will obey me!

I love this quote of the First Doctor's. Referring to his granddaughter, Susan, and David. Fate, is it not?

The First Doctor: During all the years I've been taking care of you, you in return have been taking care of me. You are still my grandchild and always will be. But now, you're a woman too. I want you to belong somewhere, to have roots of your own. With David you will be able to find those roots and live normally like any woman should do. Believe me my dear, your future lies with David and not with a silly old buffer like me. One day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine. Goodbye Susan. Goodbye my dear. [He dematerialises the Tardis, which vanishes, David and Susan, leave, Susan dropping her key onto the floor]

xoxo Carly

I would appreciate more visual materials, to make your blog more attractive, but your writing style really compensates it. But there is always place for improvement
