<><><>
Quotes-
The Doctor: [about the telescope] It's a bit rubbish. How many prisms has it got? Way too many... the magnification's gone right over the top, that's a stupid kind of - (Whisper to Rose)
The Doctor: - Am I being rude again?
Rose Tyler: Yup.
The Doctor: But it's pretty! Very... pretty!
***
Sir Robert: Nevertheless, that creature won't give up, Doctor, and we still don't possess an actual weapon!
The Doctor: Oh, your dad got all the brains, didn't he?
Rose Tyler: Being rude again!
The Doctor: Good, I meant that one.
***
Rose Tyler: [after meeting Queen Victoria] I wanted to hear her say, "We are not amused." Bet you five quid I can get her to say it.
The Doctor: Taking that bet would be an abuse of my responsibilities as a traveller in time.
Rose Tyler: Ten quid?
The Doctor: Done.
***
Queen Victoria: And please excuse the naked girl.
Rose Tyler: Sorry.
The Doctor: She's a feral child. I bought her for sixpence in old London Town. It's was her or the Elephant Man, so...
<><><>
Favorite Character- God Bless the Queen :D Pauline Collins was amazing as Queen Victoria, could have thought I was really in 1879 due to her briliant performance.
<><><>
Favorite Moment- Inside the library withThe Doctor, Rose, Queen Victoria and Sir Robert as the werewolf was filled with suspenseand mystery. I watched it twice cause I loved all the scenes, with the Doctor and Rose getting questioned, "arming themselves" with books, the diamond, and the final part of the wolf getting through glass ceiling. Amazing!

Episode 2.2- New Earth

New Earth

Season 2
Episode 2
Broadcasted-April 15 2006

Cast-
The Doctor- David Tennant
Rose- Billie Piper
Face of Boe- Struan Rodger
Cassandra- Zoe Wanamaker
Novice Hame- Anna Hope

Villans- Cassandra and the Sisters of Plenitude

Quotes-
Cassandra (in Rose's body): You're completely mad! I can see why she likes you.

Cassandra (in Rose's body): Oh my God... I'm a Chav!

The Doctor: So the year five billion, the sun expands, the earth gets roasted...
Rose: That was our first date.
The Doctor: We had chips!

Cassandra (in Rose's body): God, she's with the Doctor. That man, he's the Doctor. The same Doctor with a new face! That hypocrite!
[in an undertone]
Cassandra (in Rose's body): I must get the name of his surgeon.

The Doctor: [to Cassandra] You are so desperate to stay alive - why don't you *live* a little?

Cassandra (in Rose's body): Oh, chavtastic.

Favorite Charactor- Cassandra was simply fabulous! Whether she was in The Doctor, Rose, Chip, or just particles in the air, she had my sister and I laughing all the time.

Favorite Moment- Definatly when Cassandra's in the Doctor's body with Rose, as the hospitals being put on lockdown and they're stuck in the basement or whatever it was called. "Goodness me, I'm a man!" "Two hearts! I'm beating out a samba!" And the whole time Rose is just shocked, totally unable to realize what she has to do! Unbelievably side-splitting laughter; "Ooh, and he's slim... and a little bit foxy. You thought so too; I've been in your head, you've been looking. You like it" Rose just blushing like mad, not knowing what to say cause she unbelivably knows it's true! David Tennant had some pretttty fabulous acting there, if I do say so myself! "Outta my way, blondie!"

Tear Factor- 0 out of 10, I cried a bit... Out of laughter!

Fear Factor- 2 out of 10, the sick people were a bit disgusting-scary. Not too bad, at all though.

Rating- 8 out of 10

Chavtastic!

Epsiode 2.1-The Christmas Invasion

The Christmas Invasion
Season Two
Episode One
Broadcasted- December 25, 2005
<><><>
Cast-
The Doctor-David Tennant
Rose Tyler- Billie Piper
Mickey Smith- Noel Clarke
Jackie Tyler-Camille Coduri
Harriet Jones- Penelope Wilton
<><><>
Villans- Sycorax, after the witch from Shakespere's The Tempest. In Shakespere's Code, The Doctor mentions the name the 'Sycorax', which Shakespere says he'll use sometime.
<><><>
Quotes
Danny Llewellyn: That means they might not be Martians at all!
Major Blake: Of course not, Martians look completely different
<><><>
The Doctor: Well, yeah, you could, you could do that, course you could, but why? Look at these people, these human beings, consider their potential. From the day they arrive on this planet and blinking, step into the sun, there is more to see than can ever be seen, more to do... no, hold on... sorry, that's the Lion King... but the point still stands!
<><><>
The Doctor: We haven't got much time. If there's Pilot Fish then... why is there an apple in my dressing gown?
Jackie Tyler: Oh, that's Howard's, sorry.
The Doctor: He keeps apples in his dressing gown?
Jackie Tyler: He gets hungry...
The Doctor: What, he gets hungry in his sleep?
Jackie Tyler: Sometimes.
<><><>
Jackie Tyler: I'm gonna be killed by a Christmas tree!
<><><>
The Doctor: Rude and not ginger!
<><><>
Favorite Character- Oh, it has to be David! It's his first time being the Doctor, and I love how he just sweeps off his feet into the role! I'm probably not going to do this any more, choosing the Doctor as my favorite, but still, he was amazing as it(:
<><><>
Favorite Moment- Loved it when Doctor, Rose, Mickey, Harriet, and various other humans (liked that Alex kid, btw, wish they'd bring him back sometime) are aboard the Sycorax ship, and they realize that they can understand the Sycorax's native tounge, which I don't understand how Alex can, due to he has never been aboard the TARDIS. But, they do, and Rose realizes The Doctor's back! When he comes out and starts talking about who he really is, I was laughing and mental-noting to make this the best moment. Rude and not ginger! And his little wink to Rose was cute!
<><><>
Tear Factor- Only for Ecceleston fans, which I wasn't really. So, defiantly a 1 out of 10, if you cried at the part where Rose hugged her mother, choking up about how her Doctor was gone. Which clearly I didn't.
<><><>
Scare Factor- 1 out of 10, cause I jumped a bit when all of a sudden the Sycorax's first video was shown.
<><><>
Rating- 8 out of 10
<><><>
P.S.- Welcome to the family, David! (And we'll miss you when you're gone! Some, more than others :*])

Project

You know how sometimes, you just have really REALLY good ideas? Well then.

Here's one.

Don't take it, it's mine.

Sorta.

Okay, some I'm sure a lot of you have read/watched Julie and Julia, where Julie Powell (sorry for my spelling ]:) cooks her entire way throught Julia Child's cookbook in a year, blogging about every recipe. I have a twist on that- I'm going to blog my way through every single Doctor Who/David Tennant episode, now that I have his first season. This includes his latest season, the fifth (and saddest!). I know I've seen these before, well, most of them, anyways, but it's time to re-live it up :) Starting as soon as I can with the first, The Christmas Invasion. Wish me luck!

Chicago TARDIS

Don't think I mentioned this, but a few weeks ago, I went to the Chicago TARDIS Convention in the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center on the Saturday of Thanksgiving Weekend. Time of my life! Thought maybe I should share exactly what all I did, cause it was amazing!

Allons-y!

7 or 8-Woke up and got ready for the drive, about shot out of bed, which isn't good cause I have a bunk... but I didn't some my head is still intact, and even if it wasn't, I'd still be going!
10-Arrived, sat through a huge line with a really witty person with an AMAZING Doctor Who phone case, adored it haha!

10:30- Finally got our passes, me and my dad, and went quickly over to a table in the track for the NASA update. Dearest me, I think I almost fell asleep during that. So, we headed over to the "It's For Research, Really!" block, which I didn't understand cause I'm defiantly not a big time collector of anything, but it was amusing.

11- New New Series, thousands of SPOILERS! Now, they aren't spoilers, because Season 5 is over :*( But it was amazing back then! They couldn't get the trailers for "Waters of Mars" or "The End Of Time" right away to work, so we just conversed for a while, and spent about 20 minutes talking about whether The Master would come back. Wasted time, since at the end, when the trailers worked, it confirmed he was back. About 20 people kept saying he wouldn't come back, daft trying now to get them to believe you!
Noon-Naoko Mori Photos!!!!!!! She was unbelievably sweet, nice, funny, and a lot like Tosh on Torchwood! Later, she signed my photo I had gotten with her, it took 3 times to get the camera to work, and she called my phone (a black very broken-down enV2) something that Toshiko would use :) If only!

1-"The Changing Role Of U.N.I.T", Interesting, they all seemed like they thought the Doctor was too rough on them.
2-I went and saw "The Master Stroke, which was funny, even though I got sick in the bathroom and spent half of the time throwing up :P Felt better afterword, and went and saw "The Wedding Of Sarah Jane Smith" with David Tennant as, well, you know who. My father went off and saw Paul McGann, Daphne Ashbrook, and Yee Jee Tso. None of them looked like they did in the film.
3-"Whither Torchwood?" was glorious, but one of the speakers gave all this bad criticism on Torchwood, then said he liked it a lot! My dad and I muttered to each other, "Well, he sure has a good way of showing it", rolling our eyes :) But someone's idea, not my own, was that Jack came back for Season 4, and it's about 5 years after, so the child is a bit older and Gwen's not always having to care for him/her, and they find Torchwood 4. Think of it, all around the world, there are mysterious Torchwoods popping up, and BAM! New cast! No need for a Hub, there are hundreds of other places and sets. Personally, I thought it was brilliant.
4-Naoko Mori's question-and-answer. Didn't like the fact that this guy named Arnold T. Blumberg was moderating, not like I didn't like him. He was really funny and everything. But I just don't like ANYBODY moderating, I like it when the guest is just talking to the fans.
5-Phil Collinson's q-and-a. Oh my gosh, he was gorgeous. Loved his lovely jeans, his amazing hair, some really great hair. I swear, my gorgeous list goes
  1. David Tennant
  2. John Barrowman
  3. Phil Collinson
  4. Gareth David Lloyd
  5. David Beckham

he was adorable! And yeah, he said some interesting stuff, too.

6-Ate dinner, got a few posters, the one of all the Doctor Who cast from "The Stolen Earth/Journey's End", and "Children of Earth" poster, sister tore Gwen and Jackie's face :(

But, I did get my picture in a TARDIS and next to a Dalek! Terrible lighting, I know. But here they are, along with Naoko and me, and the DW poster.

Anyways, we headed home after that, to rewatch "Tooth and Claw" on IPTV at 11 :)

Gonee

My first Regeneration, my David Tennant, my David, my lovely Doctor

Here was my Facebook status of the night

Crying so hard right now, im laughing and crying at the same time cause im thinking how silly is this? But he's gone, my Doctor, my David Tennant, and its silly that I'm so upset!

he saw his Martha and Mickey, saved them

he saw Sarah Jane, saved her son

saw Jack and Alonso (good ol' jack ;])

the one lady's granddaughter

his Rose Tyler, the love of his life, who she has yet to meet

and Donna on her wedding day, with Granddad, who salutes him once again, the last time.

and the Ood, who sing his song as he stumbles in pain, his hearts (yeah, he has 2), to the Tardis, his arms and legs and head and body becoming fire and light and the sun, everything and nothing. and his last words.

I don't want to go.

And a new man becomes him, Matt Smith, and yet, he isn't ginger.

My David's gone, and yep, I'm crying more than I thought I would.

xoxoxoxox

  • The Doctor: New-New Doctor

  • Novice Hane: It is said he will talk to a wanderer, to the man without a home, a lonely god.

  • Reinette: One may tolerate a world of demons for the sake of an angel.

  • Reinette: Oh, this is my lover, the King of France.
The Doctor: [dismissive] Yeah? Well I'm the Lord of Time.

  • Abzorbaloff: Oh, but it will! 'Cause you'll surrender to me, Doctor. You'll do as I say, [stretches a hand towards Elton] or this one dies. See, I've read about you, Doctor. I've studied you. So passionate, so sweet - you wouldn't let an innocent man die! And I'll absorb him, unless you give yourself to me.

  • Tim Latimer: He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful.

  • Martha Jones:But if Martha Jones became a legend then that's wrong, because my name isn't important. There's someone else. The man who sent me out there, the man who told me to walk the Earth. And his name is The Doctor. He has saved your lives so many times and you never even knew he was there. He never stops. He never stays. He never asks to be thanked. But I've seen him, I know him... I love him... And I know what he can do.

  • Martha: A telepathic field, binding the whole human race together. All of them, every single person on Earth, thinking the same thing at the same time! And that word, is Doctor!

  • Tenth Doctor: Oh, no, of course. You mostly went hands-free didn't you? Like, "Hey, I'm the Doctor. I can save the universe using a kettle and some string! And look at me, I'm wearing a vegetable!

  • The Doctor: I'm the Doctor. I'm a Time Lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous. I'm 903 years old, and I'm the man who's gonna save your lives and all six billion people on the planet below. You got a problem with that?

  • Ood Sigma: I think your song must end soon.

  • Donna: [about the Doctor] He saves planets, rescues civilizations, defeats terrible creatures ... and runs a lot. Seriously, there is an outrageous amount of running involved.

  • River's narration: [as the Doctor walks away from the Library] When you run with the Doctor, it feels like it'll never end. But however hard you try you can't run forever. Everybody knows that everybody dies and nobody knows it like the Doctor. But I do think that all the skies of all the worlds might just turn dark if he ever, for one moment, accepts it. [pause]Everybody knows that everybody dies. But not every day. Not today. [The Doctor uploads her into CAL with her own happy universe] Some days are special. Some days are so, so blessed. Some days, nobody dies at all. Now and then, Every once in a very long while, every day in a million days, when the wind stands fair and the Doctor comes to call, everybody lives...

  • Davros: The Doctor. The man who keeps running, never looking back because he dare not, out of shame. This is my final victory, Doctor. I have shown you yourself.

  • Wilf: No, no - but every night, Doctor, when it gets dark, and the stars come out, I'll look up on her behalf. I'll look up at the sky, and think of you.

  • The Doctor: But there are laws. There are laws of time. Once upon a time there were people in charge of those laws, but they died. They all died. Do you know who that leaves? Me! It's taken me all these years to realise the laws of time are mine! And they will obey me!

I love this quote of the First Doctor's. Referring to his granddaughter, Susan, and David. Fate, is it not?

The First Doctor: During all the years I've been taking care of you, you in return have been taking care of me. You are still my grandchild and always will be. But now, you're a woman too. I want you to belong somewhere, to have roots of your own. With David you will be able to find those roots and live normally like any woman should do. Believe me my dear, your future lies with David and not with a silly old buffer like me. One day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine. Goodbye Susan. Goodbye my dear. [He dematerialises the Tardis, which vanishes, David and Susan, leave, Susan dropping her key onto the floor]
